How to Set Up Belkin Wireless Security

Belkin wireless router is basically used for setting up a wireless network in a home or office. Belkin router can connect with computer, gaming equipment and other Wi-Fi-enabled devices. Additional users on your wireless network can hack into your computer or cause the network to slow down. You set belkin router security to prevent unwanted users from accessing your wireless network.

Step1: open your web browser and types http://192.168.2.1 into web address filed on the browser and press enter.

Step2: It will open a new page and click on the login hyperlink at the top of the GUI home page. By default, Belkin routers do not have a password. Leave the password field blank and click on the "Submit" link to enter the GUI interface.

Step3: After completing the above steps click on the security hyperlink which is located under the "Wireless" menu.

Step4: Select 64Bit WEP or 128Bit WEP. If you want choose best wireless network then use 64bit

Step5: Select, "Key1" and enter in your new password. Click on the "Apply" hyperlink to save the router settings.
