Step1: Open a web browser and type "192.168.1.1" into the address bar and press Enter.
Step2: When login page will open, enter the default login details.
Step3: From Netgear router settings page right-click on "Wireless Settings" on the left side of the page.
Step4: When prompted, enter your wireless network name under “SSID box”.
Step5: From “Security Options”, click on the box WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES] and this will encrypt your network.
Step6: Type your new wireless network password when prompted.
Step7: Click "Apply" to save your new network password.
